We are proud to announce that we will be attending Game Fair 2019, the ultimate festival of the Great British Countryside. The festival is on 26 – 28 July and is being held at the magnificent grounds of Hatfield House, Hertfordshire.
Game Fair is the largest countryside festival in Europe and is packed pull of entertainment, expert advice, shooting, and most importantly for us, gundogs!
Over the weekend there will be four gundog events:
- The Euro Challenge: On the Friday (26th Jul) it’s England versus Europe. Handlers and dogs from both teams will be tested on their stills in a variety of shooting and retrieving situations over land and water.
- The Home International Completion: On Saturday and Sunday (27th & 28th) the UK’s most hotly contested gundog event since 1969 will take place. Teams from England, Ireland, Scotland and Wales battle head-to-head in a purpose built arena to find out which country has the best handlers.
- Sporting Dog Pavilion: Get up close and learn about 22 different breeds and watch live demonstrations at the Working Dog Arena. A perfect chance to find out more about the vast range of dogs that work and take part in sporting events.
- Have-A-Go: There is lots of fun to be had with your own dog in the grounds. Entry costs £3 or £5 for two dogs.
